When it was time for a cheese breadstick, we partnered with the renowned Fiscalini Farmstead Cheese Co. in Modesto, California.  While some manufacturers crow about “real” cheese as an ingredient, we process whole, fifty-two pound wheels of well-aged, world award-winning Fiscalini Bandage Wrapped Cheddar.  Each wheel is a work of art, hand-selected for Panevino by Master Cheese Maker Mariano Gonzalez.  The results defy description, and any other product in their category.

Slow, controlled baking produces a mellow, caramelized cheddar aroma and flavor that pair beautifully with a broad spectrum of wines from crisp, acidic sparklers to bold reds with firm tanins.  Tomato soup, anyone?
